About Christophe Le Metayer

After years of running his own restaurant in France, followed by five years perfecting his style at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead, chef Christophe Le Metayer has brought his elegant cuisine to Alpharetta (A prestigious community north of Atlanta). But you won't find it in a fancy, reservation-only restaurant. For his Field Good concept, Le Metayer has kept it casual, with a menu that's flavorful and fun. The philosophy of "Field Good" is high quality food and excellent service at affordable price with relaxing environment. You are welcome to visit Field Good at www.FieldGood.com where you can view the menu or order online.

For the past year Christophe has been working at Robert’s catering company, Prestige Gourmet.

Prior to joining Prestige Gourmet, Christophe was overseeing menus and seasonal offerings at The Ritz Carlton’s Café (aaa) in Buckhead, one of Atlanta's busiest restaurants and Buckhead’s gathering place for power breakfast and business and social lunches. Christophe was appointed chef of The Café in 2003, transferring from the Dinning Room, where he had been sous-chef for a year.

He operated his own restaurant, Saint Martin, a short distance from Paris from 1993 to 2001. The restaurant earned listings in several respected French guidebooks including: Michelin Guide (Bib Gourmand), Pudlowski Guide, and Bottin Gourmand.

Prior to opening Saint Martin, Christophe worked at two restaurants in Copenhagen: Hotel d’Angleterre and Sollerod Kro. He moved to Denmark from France, where he had held positions at a three stars (aaa) Michelin restaurant operated by Alain Ducasse in Hotel de Paris, Monte Carlo, and at a one star Michelin restaurant: Hotel Sofitel in Paris. Christophe was born in Meulan, 25 miles North West of Paris.
